A prominent corporate bank is seeking an AVP/ VP role in a FX/MM Treasury Settlement Team.

A prominent corporate banking subsidiary of a major financial group. It was established through the merger of the corporate and investment banking divisions of three significant banks. It played a crucial role in financial markets and was known for its strong credit ratings and financial stability. This institution provides a wide range of services, including corporate finance, investment banking, and securities.
Your new role
- Manage the complete process of operations and settlements for interbank foreign exchange (FX) and money market (MM) transactions, along with related support, administration, and reporting tasks.
- Engage in system implementation and project participation.
- Oversee subordinates to ensure efficient and effective team operations.
- Enter and approve transactions in back-office systems.
- Execute payments and report cash flow for interbank transactions to the Treasury Department.
- Conduct confirmation operations for related transactions.
- Administer settlement activities, including AML screening processing and account reconciliation for transactions.
- Contribute to business development and operational enhancement projects within the section.
- Perform tasks proactively with minimal supervision, handling irregular cases independently.
- Provide guidance and feedback to subordinates as needed.
- Uphold high standards of business conduct and integrity in operations and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
- 4 years of experience in banking operations.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Practical experience of developing and implementing new products and systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to think critically.
- A growth mindset and openness to new ideas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for the Assistant Vice President position.
