Commercial Banking Relationship Manager - Regional Bank
Overview: My client is a regional commercial bank in Hong Kong, and they are expanding the Commercial Banking business and looking for few self-driven Relationship Managers to extend the portfolio by providing one-stop financial services and product expertise to small to middle-sized enterprises.
Your New Role: - Develop and manage a portfolio of local lower mid-cap clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Offer tailored financial solutions to local lower mid-cap clients, including trade finance, commercial loans, cash management, and cross-selling treasury products.
- Conduct credit due diligence and ensure the quality of assets.
- Mitigate credit risk within the portfolio through regular credit reviews.
- Prepare credit proposals by negotiating credit terms, pricing, and collateral requirements in line with the bank's guidelines.
What You'll Need to Succeed: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
- At least 3-5 years of solid sales and marketing experience in a commercial banking environment focused on local lower mid-cap clients, with a proven track record in acquiring new customers.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance, commercial loans, and treasury products, with formal credit analysis training being a plus.
- Holder of the Enhanced Competency Framework on Credit Risk Management (ECF CRM) qualification.
- Excellent analytical skills, self-motivated, independent, and dynamic problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
- Preferably with IIQE and HKSI licenses for cross-selling activities.
