Service Line Overview
KPMG IT services help the organization to adopt technology solutions by leveraging with existing technology while also exploring the opportunities presented by cloud computing, mobile devices and other emerging technologies, in turn facilitates delivery of professional service and values to our clients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic System and Solution Architect in our project team to support the fast-growing business. The position is a hands-on technical and solution delivery role.
Key Responsibilities
• Deploy applications on both public and private cloud platforms.
• Design solutions based on business requirements, technical capabilities, and industry best practices.
• Establish architectural frameworks and develop prototypes and models to demonstrate designs.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions, collaborating with developers and engineers.
• Recommend enhancements to improve system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Identify technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, develop, and implement solutions; estimate scope and timelines; coordinate with other teams for effective delivery.
• Perform system updates and upgrades to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Manage priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to changes.
• Ensure operations comply with company standards and regulations, including ISO27001.
• Support the national operations centre with operational solutions.
Experience & Background
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT platform, operation, and projects.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework is highly desirable.
• Experience in creating high-level architecture diagrams and solution blueprints.
• Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, and hosting technologies such as OpenShift, VMware, compute environments, storage systems, and network concepts.
• Experience and technical knowledge in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft M365 and AWS are beneficial.
• Commitment to developing and adhering to standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
