About Us / Why Join?
We are a rapidly growing crypto hedge fund, 2 years old, managing a 9-figure AUM, generating 200%+ annualized returns with a 4 Sharpe.
Our team has grown to approximately 40 professionals across Trading & Research, Technology, and Operations.
About the role
We are seeking a Hybrid On-Chain Data Analyst and Engineer to leverage cutting-edge technology and data-driven strategies, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in the digital asset markets.
This role will be an integral part of our On-Chain Alpha Research team, focusing on generating trading ideas through thorough on-chain research. By combining expertise in On-Chain Data Engineering and Data Analysis, you will support our on-chain researchers and deliver actionable insights, contributing directly to the continued growth of our profitability.
We recognize that the responsibilities of this role span across two distinct areas. While our ideal candidate has expertise in both areas, we welcome candidates who excel in one area and are eager to develop expertise in the other.
Responsibilities
On-Chain Data Analysis
- Collaborate with researchers to design datasets, metrics, and wallet attribution models for alpha generation and trading strategies.
- Develop algorithms for wallet behavior analysis using graph analytics and identify key market participants.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to make blockchain data actionable for cross-functional teams.
- Analyze data to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies, providing insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Proactively explore new data sources and adapt quickly to emerging blockchain trends and technologies.
On-Chain Data Engineering
- Design, build, and optimize scalable pipelines and Snowflake data warehouses for ingesting, transforming, and integrating high-volume blockchain datasets.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and real-time monitoring using tools like DBT, Web3 libraries (e.g., Web3.py), and validation processes.
- Collect, clean, and integrate large on-chain and off-chain datasets to analyze tokenomics, fund allocations, and market dynamics.
