A Well-Established Corporate Bank is looking for a Team Lead to join their Trade Finance Services & Operations Team.
The ideal candidate will supervise the daily activities of the Import Trade Finance Operations Team & ensure the team in compliance with banking policy and procedure.
Your new role
- Supervise a Team of 10 Headcounts
- Perform and investigate daily Trade Operations activities including Import LC issuance/amendment, bill booking and payment, document checking, Bank Guarantees, Trust Receipts ; Support Export LC related products (Advising, Confirmation, Discounting, Collection, etc.) if needed
- Participant in system enhancement and implementation projects
- Perform the duty of checking and approval of all trade transactions
- Process Trade Finance transactions in accordance with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and the Bank's policies and procedures
- Deal with internal / external parties for matters related to trade transactions
- Conduct visits to customers with Relationship Managers to explain products and solutions of trade services as necessary
- Develop team members through work assignments, coaching and training
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree related field
- At least 10 years of experience in import trade finance operations
- Strong leadership skills with at least 5 years experience in managing teams
- Familiar with BankGuarantee / Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC)
- Familiar with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and CDCS holder
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
