Senior/Software Developer (Grafana)

As such, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced monitoring and visualization solutions that provide actionable insights into our trading systems, market data, and infrastructure performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly customized Grafana dashboards and visualizations to monitor real-time trading systems, market data feeds, and infrastructure metrics.
  • Integrate Grafana with a variety of data sources, including time-series databases messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and proprietary APIs.
  • Collaborate with trading and IT teams to identify monitoring requirements and translate them into intuitive, high-performance dashboards.
  • Optimize configurations and queries for low-latency, high-frequency environments to ensure minimal overhead and maximum responsiveness.
  • Develop custom Grafana plugins, data source integrations, and extensions to meet the unique needs of our trading operations.
  • Implement robust alerting and notification systems to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact trading performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Grafana in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of time-series data and experience with databases
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with high-frequency trading systems, financial markets, or algorithmic trading is a plus.
