Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management (PWM") provides highly customized financial advice, investment solutions and brokerage services to individuals, families and foundations. As Morgan Stanley's premier service for individuals and families with significant means, we specialize in providing our clients with custom-tailored financial solutions and a level of sophistication and access to expertise and investments typically reserved for large corporations, financial institutions and governments.
About the Role
As part of PWM, Assets Planning Group (APG") provides value added wealth planning services to our private clients. Range of services covering family office advisory, trust referrals and insurance referrals. Based in Hong Kong, APG team is seeking a highly self-motivated professional ( Analyst ) to support the Team's regional function.
Key Responsibilities
- Insurance products on-boarding
- External service providers on-boarding - e.g. independent trustee firms, professional firms, insurance brokers
- Participate and provide administration support in launching team's new initiatives to the firm
- Assist in the team's internal project works
- Generation of business reports (for Asia Region)
- Doing business strategic data analysis
- Other administration work
- Communicating with external service providers - e.g. insurance brokers, independent trustees and other professional firms.
- To act as a liaison between the relationship managers, their clients, trustees and insurance intermediaries on all wealth planning arrangement related matters.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
- The position is based in Hong Kong
- University graduate in Finance or related disciplines preferred
- Other related professional qualifications (e.g. TEP, CPA, CPWP, CFA etc.) is a plus
- 2-3 years' (or less) of working experience as a wealth planner or related professional areas (e.g. trusts, insurance) is highly preferred
- Prior experience or exposure to private banking is a definite advantage
- Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin, English
- Good command of computer software skills - Chinese typing, powerpoint, excel
- Good interpersonal, management and presentation skills
- This junior role is suitable for candidate who has the career ambitious to grow as a wealth planner in the private wealth management industry.
