We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about investing in tech companies. The team is currently focused on stock investment in large-cap US tech companies (think of Mag 7) and will gradually expand coverage into smaller names and also China names. The role will start with foundational tasks that supports the investment team including regular market updates, industry data tracking and analysis, AI development tracking and analysis, updating financial models and prepare presentation materials. The role will gradually gain more responsibility and autonomy including picking up stock coverage and getting more involved in investment decision making.
Requirement:
- 1-3 years of work experience in a sell-side equity research role, preferably from a top-tier global investment bank covering industries related to tech (Internet/Software/Semiconductor/Tech Hardware). Candidates with IBD background or buy-side equity research will also be considered.
- Solid financial analysis skills including financial statement analysis and company valuation.
- Solid academic achievements. Preferably from top schools with good grades but we are flexible.
- Academic or professional experience related to AI is a plus
