Job Responsibilities

  • Review transaction terms of OTC derivatives, coordinate with counterparties and the legal department to facilitate amendments and execution of agreements.  
  • Monitor end-to-end lifecycle processes of OTC derivatives, including trade capture and verification, valuation, settlement, and maturity/termination; handle events such as contract resets, cash flow settlements, and option exercises to ensure timely delivery.  
  • Assist the trading desk and sales team in understanding client needs, provide customized financial reports, and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.  
  • Actively participate in testing and upgrades of operational systems; streamline operational processes and promote automation tools (e.g., Python, VBA) to reduce manual operational risks.  


Qualifications

  • Masters degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or related fields preferred.  
  • Knowledge of OTC derivatives fundamentals and transaction processes; familiarity with legal frameworks such as ISDA agreements and CSA collateral agreements; proficiency in Excel (VBA), SQL, or Python preferred.  
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial industry operations/settlement; prior experience with OTC derivatives is a plus.  
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail; fluency in English and Mandarin.
