We are seeking several experienced *Junior/Senior Business Research Consultanst** (part-time/home based arrangements negotiable) with deep expertise in international relations, geopolitical dynamics, and economic policy mechanisms. The ideal candidate will advise multinational enterprises on navigating geopolitical and economic risks, leveraging strategic insights to safeguard and optimize regional operations. Priority will be given to candidates with established professional networks across public-sector institutions, multinational corporations, or elite think tanks.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Risk Assessment & Mitigation**: Conduct in-depth analysis of geopolitical developments, regulatory shifts, and policy trends to identify risks impacting global business operations.
- **Strategic Advisory**: Design actionable strategies to mitigate risks associated with sanctions, trade restrictions, and other geopolitical or economic disruptions.
- **Policy Analysis**: Deliver comprehensive assessments of legislative changes, sanctions regimes, and regulatory frameworks, outlining implications for client operations.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Leverage professional networks to facilitate dialogue with industry associations, academic institutions, and government bodies, providing proactive guidance.
- **Knowledge Leadership**: Produce high-impact research reports, white papers, and briefings to communicate strategic insights to stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
**Academic Background**:
- Degree or above in International Relations, Political Science, Law, Economics, or a related field from a globally renowned institution.
**Professional Experience**:
- Minimum **3+ years** of experience in geopolitical risk advisory, policy analysis, or strategic consulting within public-sector entities, international organizations, think tanks, or multinational corporations.
- Proven track record in managing sanctions compliance, trade risk, and investment security in volatile geopolitical contexts.
- Established network within public-sector agencies, regulatory bodies, or multinational enterprises (preferably in trade, finance, or technology sectors).
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Expertise in the political, legal, and economic systems of key jurisdictions.
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and presentation skills; ability to translate complex geopolitical trends into actionable business strategies.
- Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken); additional language skills is a definite plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Prior collaboration with regulatory agencies or public-sector institutions.
