Salary: HK$60k - HK$75k

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading systems and exchange platforms, along with microservices applications
  • Optimize existing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance to handle high volumes of transactions.
  • Collaborate with trading and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement and maintain APIs for trading, market data, and order management.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of trading systems, including encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development ideally comes with full-stack design experience
  • A strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with trading systems, order matching engines, or financial platforms (crypto or traditional finance).
  • Familiarity with WebSocket, REST APIs, FIX protocol, Database, and Distributed Systems
