You will be responsible for monitoring the return and custody of title deeds and security documents. You will need to ensure fire insurance arrangement for mortgaged properties are in order. You will also be responsible for answering various inquiries from external and internal parties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Arrange mortgage Insurance (new and renewal) for the mortgaged property.
  • Handle enquiries from relationship managers, Dah Sing Insurance or other departments in relation to mortgage insurance or other operational issues
  • Handle approval process of fire insurance block/master policy of the mortgaged property and follow up the renewed block/master Policy with management office/insurance company
  • Follow up with solicitor firms for memorial number/registration date and non-returned title deeds after loan drawdown
  • Perform in-coming title deed checking to ensure no discrepancies and arrange storage of title deeds in warehouse
  • Arrange/monitor incoming/outgoing of mortgage title deeds and vehicle finance/equipment finance security documents
  • Arrange title deed custodian fee collection
  • Provide information to Customer Information Department for account investigation by external party such as solicitors, the Government, etc.
  • Handle CCRA data input, maintenance and submission process
  • Handle insurance premium payment to the insurance company for the premium financing application and SFGS guarantee fee payment to HKMCI
  • Perform the system updating/input such as Land Search data etc.
  • Handling of the daily teller transactions and relevant GL entries for fee collection
  • Perform the file maintenance in accordance with the Department Data Retention Policy
  • Perform ad hoc/special project as assigned by Department Head/Section Head
Incumbent Requirements:
  • Matriculated or above
  • Minimum 3 years in bank operations, preferably related to loans operations
  • Basic bank products knowledge and accounting principles
  • Candidate with the qualification of Certified Banker is an advantage
