Job Responsibilities: - Handles all classes of claim in pursuant with Claims Guidelines
- Appoints and liaises with investigators/adjusters/solicitors in claims investigation and settlement within authority given.
- Assists in supervising a team of subordinates include coaches and approves the claims done by subordinates and motivate them to deliver claims service and standard required.
- Prepare claims reports as well as operation statistics for management control monitoring.
- Conduct technical training for internal and external customers i.e. agents, staff.
Job Requirements: - Degree or professional insurance qualification i.e. ACII or ANZIIF
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry of which 2 years at supervisory/managerial level
- Excellent knowledge in general insurance claims of all classes, in particular personal lines
- Technical knowledge in claims handling.
- Possesses leadership quality with ability to control, motivate, exemplify and communicate with subordinates.
- Willingness to excel and the ability to establish standards.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Chinese.
