Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our corporate banking client. This role is critical in managing a team of seven, including tea ladies, receptionists, and the incoming mail room. The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging environment and play a key role in fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the office administration team, ensuring efficient management of reception, mail, and support services.
- Lead and manage a team of tea ladies and receptionists, providing guidance and support to enhance service delivery.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Bank's operational standards.
- Handle incoming mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution and maintaining accurate records.
- Address any administrative challenges, including managing paperwork and procedures unique to the bank environment.
- Work collaboratively with senior management to identify areas for improvement and streamline office operations.
- Foster a positive and professional atmosphere within the office, even amidst challenging interactions with senior managers.
Requirements:
- An Associate Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in facility management or office administration, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and senior management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to navigate a challenging work environment and implement change effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant administrative software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
