Our client, a leading financial organization, is undergoing a significant transformation of its business and IT infrastructure through a multi-year digitalization initiative. They are looking for an IT Security Engineer with expertise in cybersecurity architecture and solution design to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security frameworks to protect internal digital assets and infrastructure. The position is initially offered as a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Key Contributions:
- Design and implement enterprise-level cybersecurity architectures to protect systems, networks, and data.
- Develop security frameworks, blueprints, and roadmaps aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
- Lead the design and deployment of end-to-end security solutions, including identity and access management (IAM), data protection, network security, and cloud security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into system designs, applications, and infrastructure.
- Perform security reviews of existing architectures and propose enhancements.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes to ensure the organization's security posture remains robust.
Core Expectations:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security
- Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions for cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption.
- Fluent in written and speaking Cantonese & English
