Job Responsibilities

1. Risk Identification and Monitoring

- Familiar with the risk management requirements of the Hong Kong SFC, and develop a comprehensive risk management framework aligned with the Hong Kong SFC's regulatory requirements, ensuring real-time monitoring of Olive's secondary market activities.  

- Identify and assess market risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, and other risk factors related to secondary market activities, propose and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.  

- Possess a strong professional understanding of financial derivatives, structured products, and External Asset Management (EAM). Demonstrate expertise in evaluating business process rationality and recommend measures to reduce operational risks.

2. Risk Assessment and Reporting

- Perform regular reviews and generate risk assessment reports on business processes and performance. Analyze risk exposure, conduct stress testing, and provide data-driven insights to support management's decision-making.  

- Develop contingency plans for unforeseen market events (e.g. black swan events), enabling swift impact analysis and the implementation of appropriate hedging strategies. 

3. Internal Control Management and Process Optimization 

- Maintain and continuously optimize the risk monitoring systems, including investment decision management and product management systems, to enhance automation and intelligence in risk oversight.  

- Regularly review and refine internal control policies, management standards, operational procedures, and promote the alignment of the risk management system with international best practices.

4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Training  

- Collaborate closely with investment, product, legal, and compliance teams to ensure the effective implementation of risk control strategies within business operations.  

- Organize risk management training programs to elevate company-wide risk awareness and ensure adherence to risk control protocols. 

Job Requirements:

1. Educational Background and Qualifications

- Master's degree or above in Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.  

- Certifications such as FRM, CFA are highly preferred.

2. Work Experience

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in international financial institutions, such as asset management, wealth management, or securities firms. 

3. Professional Skills

- Proficient in in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, and SQL.  

- Familiar with financial market data platforms, including Bloomberg Terminal. 

4. Communication and Self-Motivation

- Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with fluency in English for drafting professional risk reports and liaising with overseas regulators.  

- Highly adaptable, self-driven, and capable of thriving in complex, dynamic environments. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of critical responsibilities and drive risk management initiatives effectively. 

5. Compliance and Integrity

- Clean record with no history of major financial misconduct or regulatory violations. Full compliance with financial regulatory integrity standards.  

- Adheres to non-compete policies, with no engagement in part-time roles at conflicting financial institutions (e.g. P2P lending platforms, private financing companies).
