Director, Loan Capital Market, European Bank
Overview: Our client, a European bank, is seeking a Head of Loan Capital Market division to oversee the Southeast Asia region.
Your New Role: - To promote and market origination business for syndicated loan opportunities to secure financing mandates for loan capital markets in Southeast Asia
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Loan Capital Markets division in Southeast Asia, aligning with the bank's overall objectives.
- Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of loan transactions, including syndicated loans, project finance, and acquisition finance.
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Work closely with other departments, including risk management, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
What You'll Need to Succeed: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in loan capital markets, with a strong track record in Southeast Asia.
- Ability to negotiate with and influence various parties on conflicting issues and to achieve consensus
- Good interpersonal, presentation, marketing and communication skills
- Excellent leadership and team management experience in Greater China origination teams
- Fluent in spoken & written English, Cantonese & Mandarin
