About the job: Job Purpose & Objectives
- To support the Global Institutional Business team with all functions of client coverage
- To maintain and grow with existing and new FI and public sector client relationships
- To maximize the revenues of the Bank through cross-selling activities
Key Responsibilities
- Originate new business through liaising with product teams and other BBVA offices
- Maintain regular client contact for daily servicing matters and ongoing account monitoring
- Prepare and present credit application and new business proposal
- Formulate account strategy & associated income forecast
- Present new business case/annual renewal at local Credit Committee & New Business Committee
- Work closely with Asia Risk & Portfolio Management to resolve internal credit queries
- Liaise with legal and compliance departments to complete documentation and KYC procedures
- Prepare internal reports to facilitate strategic business planning and management decision
Qualification & Experience
- A university degree in business, finance, economics or related field
- No formal work experience required. Recent graduates of local and overseas universities are welcome to apply
Knowledge & Skills
- Broad general knowledge, high versatility and flexibility, great attention to details, good logical and critical thinking, a sharp and analytical mind
- PC literacy (Microsoft Office including word, excel and powerpoint)
Language
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Mandarin or Spanish is an advantage
