About your team The Asia Pacific ex- Japan RFP Team is responsible for supporting key sales and marketing efforts across the institutional and wholesale/ intermediary/retail business channels in Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, China, Singapore, Southeast Asia and Middle East. The team's main responsibilities include completing detailed Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and ad-hoc requests. Potential clients request this information in order to evaluate our company, products and services; and ultimately make major investment decisions.It is vital that Fidelity provides our clients with up-to-date, high quality documents which communicate our marketing message clearly and the RFP team members are responsible for project managing and producing these documents.
About your role The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality, tailored responses to information requests which communicate Fidelity's competitive advantages and product features in a clear and compelling proposal. This involves crafting new content as well as using existing materials.
The RFP Specialist/ Manager works particularly closely with the Asia Pacific ex-Japan sales teams, client services teams, investment specialists, the RFP content management team and other experts throughout Fidelity. As the role involves sourcing and providing in-depth written answers to questions on a wide variety of topics, this role provides an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of Fidelity's products and services. Key responsibilities
- Collaboratively work with the team and other colleagues within the global organisation
- Developing a strong knowledge of the key products and mandates, with a particular focus on private credit and multi asset solutions
- Proactively organise workload to meet client and internal deadlines
- Confidently liaise with the investment product teams and sales relationship teams to determine client requirements, allocate responsibilities and project manage the entire RFP completion process
- Crafting a high-quality document using the RFP database to source standard answers, working on new responses and tailoring all content to the particular proposal requirements
- Tracking and monitoring the RFP pipeline of work in progress
- Proactively contributing to the ongoing improvement of RFP content team's processes and systems
About you - Skills and Experience - Working experience at asset management firm is preferred
- Previous experience in writing RFPs is preferred but not mandatory. We welcome experience in sales support, marketing, product development with an interest to transition to RFP role.
- Team player - functioning as part of a team, sharing tasks and providing internal support aligned to Fidelity's values
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills (oral & written) required
- Fluent written and spoken English required
- Highly developed project management and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
- A proactive approach to learning is vital to successfully developing in the role
- Accountability and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Numeracy -ability to interpret and utilise statistical data
- Able to adapt to a wide range of tasks as required.
