Senior Manager, Finance Transformation (Insurance)

As they continue to innovate and transform their operations, they are seeking a Senior Manager for Finance Transformation to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview
They are looking for a Senior Manager for Finance Transformation who will play a critical role in enhancing their finance systems and processes. This individual will focus on the Oracle platform and will be responsible for ensuring its full functionality, supporting users, and leading various projects aimed at transforming their finance operations.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the Oracle system's full functionality and provide support to users, including participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to identify and test solutions for any issues.
- Investigate issues using advanced knowledge beyond that of the average user, to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively.
- Work closely with the tech team to ensure that system configurations align with the finance transformation team's requirements, and test these configurations before rollout.
- Lead various projects, including the rollout of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) module, treasury system implementation, Oracle financial reporting system rollout, and the development of ad hoc robotic tools and dashboards.
- Participate in future initiatives for reporting consolidation and back-end system integration.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt, with a high level of self-direction and minimal supervision required.
Position Requirements
- Solid experience in project management and PMO practices, with a strong technical background.
- At least 5-6 years experience in financial management and business process design
- Strong analytical, quantitative, execution, project management and leadership skills coupled with good financial acumen
- Previous exposure to the insurance industry is a must-have.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset to navigate complex financial systems and processes.
