Operations Middle Office Professional | Global Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund
Location: Hong Kong
Responsibilities:
- Oversee derivative operations, including processing, confirmation, and reconciliation of trades.
- Ensure accurate and timely trade settlements, working with counterparties and custodians.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy.
- Record trades in relevant systems, following procedures.
- Communicate with investment and treasury teams to align operations with strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a strong academic or professional track record.
- Buy-side experience preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of cross-asset operational experience, including equities, derivatives, and fixed income are preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze complex scenarios and think critically.
- Intellectually curious, self-starter with attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
- Technical skills (SQL, Python, data analysis, Power BI, or VBA) are beneficial but not required; training provided.
