We are assisting our corporate banking client in the search for a Deputy Manager in Trade Finance and Loan Operations. This key role involves leading a small team and ensuring the smooth operation of trade finance and loan processing. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of trade finance and loan processing, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
- Lead and mentor a small team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and professional development.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimize operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management on operational performance and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in trade and loan operations to maintain competitiveness.
Requirements:
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in trade and loan operations within the banking industry, with some managerial experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance products, loan processing, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges effectively.
- Excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
