The role is for the Funds Team will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients in the Funds and Official Institutions sector and providing tailored financial solutions, ensuring exceptional client service, and driving revenue growth. The individual will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging deep industry knowledge and a strong network to deliver value-added services.
Responsibilities - The successful candidate will have a Funds & Official Institutions client coverage focus, working in the Funds & Insurance Team, and will be expected to:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of client relationships as the Relationship Manager (RM), develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction, as well as achieve commercial revenue and return targets
- Identify, target and onboard new clients in the Private Markets & Public Markets Funds space
- Work alongside Senior Relationship Manager / Team Head as Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) on co-coverage of strategic accounts, supporting day to day operational issues, customer coverage and participating in regional collaboration and discussions
- Be responsive and ensure prompt resolution of clients' operational requirements including but not limited to ongoing operational and technical issues, at time in conjunction with other teams such as Payment Operations, Global Transaction Services, Global Financial Markets etc
- Collaborate closely with the Bank's various Product and Regional FIG teams to contribute to the origination, solutioning, and implementation. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell the bank's products and services
- Coordinate different workstreams amongst the various teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of banking solutions, including the onboarding team for new customer onboarding and periodic KYCs
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the funds and official institutions sector. Monitor and share competitor activities and market developments to position the bank as a leader in the space
- Demonstrate the bank's brand and PRIDE! values, learn best practices and be an active team player
- Consolidate MIS and internal reports for the team as needed, coordinate and run initiatives as required by and provide timely support to Relationship Managers and/or Team Head
Requirements - Recognised Degree qualification in Economics/Business/Finance/Engineering, or relevant discipline with at least 5-8 years' relevant experience. Candidates with less experience may be considered for AVP

- Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Proficiency in PC applications, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
