Responsibilities - Act as the Central Dealing Specialist supporting Private Banking & TPC segment relationship managers and investment counsellors to facilitate cross assets products execution
- Collaborate with the Products Management Team to provide pricing and order execution services to HNW/UHNW clients via relationship managers and investment counsellors
- Execute structured product and derivative trades with high accuracy and efficiency, while strictly adhering to the banking and exchange regulations, policies and guidelines
- Provide execution support on global cash equities and bonds
- Introduce new product strategies through coordinating with product providers to enhance product offering
- To stay updated with latest development in investment markets and products and maintain close relationships with counterparties and brokers.
- Perform regulated activities, type 1 & 4 or 1, 4, 9 (as required) specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO)
- Manage sales processes in compliant with the registered capacity and any conditions imposed by the HKMA. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC
Requirements - University degree, with preferred professional qualification in the Finance or Investment fields.
- Must be registered RI [Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4 or 1, 4 & 9 (as required)]
- 2-6 years in dealing room experience will be considered for Analyst to AVP, 6-10 years or more in related field will be considered for VP. Related experience should be in Equity markets or a similar position in an established Financial Institution
- Good understanding of Wealth Management industry, and its regulatory requirement in Asia
- Sound expertise of equity-related investment products
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with teamwork spirit
- Well verse with standard financial platforms and analytical tools such as Reuters and Bloomberg
- Familiar with standard computer software programs
- Knowledge in VBA is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
