Production Support Engineer – Trading Systems (Linux/Python/SQL) Hong Kong/Singapore (SGPR/Citizenship Required)

BAH Partners are currently hiring a Production Support Engineer for a top-tier Hedge Fund in Singapore. In this role, you will provide Level 2/3 support for UAT and production environments, ensuring the stability and efficiency of trading platforms across Front Office and Middle Office applications. You’ll collaborate with global teams to resolve technical issues, automate processes, and enhance the firm’s trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical trading-related issues, escalating to subject matter experts when necessary, and managing communications with trading staff and stakeholders.
  • Automate processes and uplift environment management tools to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Deploy, support, and monitor internal trading systems, ensuring platforms are correctly installed, configured, and tested.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Linux environment, with proficiency in shell scripting, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience in financial technology and familiarity with FIX protocols.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and a solid understanding of SDLC processes.
