As an
Manager, Underwriting, you will be responsible for handling the underwriting process for general insurance product, ensuring that risks are assessed accurately and policies are issued in compliance with company guidelines. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the growth of our underwriting portfolio.
Main Responsibilities: - Assess and evaluate insurance applications and related documents
- Build & develop good relationships with business partners & internal parties in the monitoring the quotation process
- Analyze risk factors and determine appropriate coverage terms and pricing for new and renewal business in accordance with the Underwriting Guideline
- Provide quotations & responses to handlers and provide training to Marketing staff
- Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisors
- Coordinate with Policy Administration Team to meet service standard of the company
To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes: - University graduate with relevant professional qualification preferable
- At least 8 years' relevant experience with in-depth knowledge in the General Insurance (Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager)
- Proficient general underwriting skills, extensive experience in product development, implementation and product marketing activities including opportunity identification, project implementation and product marketing communication
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
