Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities - Prepare regulatory and internal risk reports for ongoing monitoring and analysis
- Participate in preparation, submission, and disclosures relating to regulatory risk standards, e.g. Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio, Core Funding Ratio and Liquidity Monitoring Tools
- Develop risk data analytics tool to deliver shape insights for decision-making, and continuous improvements in efficiency and robustness of internal/regulatory reporting
- Support the provision of data needed for risk purposes, e.g. review of internal risk methodologies, setting of risk appetite/control thresholds, stress testing, answering ad-hoc regulatory queries
- Support the preparation of risk updates to risk oversight committees, including the use of any tools (e.g. dashboards)
- Participate in development and User Acceptance Test ("UATâ€) exercises arising from system / risk engine / Analytical tools / Dashboard changes
Requirements - Open to fresh graduated to 7 years work experienced candidates
- Bachelor's degree holder in finance / accounting, or technology / operation discipline
- Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
- Qualified for Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management (e.g. TMA core member) is an advantage
- Relevant experience in regulatory/ financial reporting, regulatory and/or internal risk reporting in a sizeable financial institution
- Solid knowledge on accounting and financial reporting standards
- Good knowledge on the end-to-end reporting process (including source and cascade of data to the reporting engine and output) and able to work with upstream stakeholders to troubleshoot
- Working experience with vendor/in-house risk reporting engines and data management is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of banking products
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- A good team player, result-oriented, with strong sense of ownership
