Senior Support Engineer - FICC / FICC & EQD Applications

A leading international investment bank is seeking several senior production support professionals to join the TechOps team in Hong Kong. The primary responsibility of this team is to deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for FICC and EQD Front to Back Office systems, including both in-house applications and vendor platforms such as TBricks, Imagine, and Calypso for business users. This team is seeking either professionals with experience in FICC support or FICC & EQD support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for Calypso and other systems to a diverse range of users.
  • Maintain documentation on operational procedures and the technical environment configuration.
  • Manage change requests from development and infrastructure teams, along with other configuration changes.
  • Handle incident escalation and management.
  • Configure system monitoring rules and respond to monitoring alerts.
  • Implement tactical automation.
  • Conduct BCP drills and assist with IT security and audit reviews.
  • Lead projects related to the deployment of new systems and servers.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of relevant system support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Proficiency in Linux server commands and shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of server and network infrastructure.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work morning shifts (starting at 7 AM) and rotate weekend shifts (with compensatory leave entitlement).
