Overview:
We are assisting our banking client, an expanding corporate bank known for its commitment to innovation and exceptional client service, in their search for a Senior Associate in Trade Finance Operations with a focus on FX & MM. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in supporting the bank's growth and enhancing its trade finance offerings. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily trade finance operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and mitigate risks in trade finance activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely review of trade documents, including Letters of Credit, bills of lading, and other supporting documents.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients regarding trade finance inquiries, delivering exceptional service and support.
- Analyze and mitigate risks associated with trade transactions to safeguard the bank's interests.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in trade finance operations within the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance products, including Letters of Credit and documentary collections.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient in relevant banking software and MS Office applications.
