This role will initiate and lead programmes to strengthen and sustain the Prudential Strategic partnership with an emphasis on strategic leadership and guidance of Prudential Local Business Unit (LBU) partners. In addition, to lead and drive Group-led programmes to create incremental value for customers and partners with an emphasis on meeting customer needs, optimizing customer experience and driving greater efficiencies via digitalization and collaborate with partners to ensure delivery of joint plan targets and Prudential strategic and financial KPIs

Lead and drive the development of Prudential Group Partnerships Distribution (PD) strategy and ambitions for growth. Continue to improve Prudential's PD capabilities and facilitate the delivery of a material contribution to Prudential Group results from Partnership. Continue Prudential's regional dominance of partnership focused business.

Business Performance Management
  • Support the management of Prudential partnerships. This includes participating in dialogues with senior management of bank partners at Regional / Group level and country level.
  • Working closely with Prudential Local Business Units (LBU) to conduct assessments to enable proactive management of sales performance. Lead 4-way work groups to identify solutions as required. Take part and support LBUs on identified actions where necessary.
  • Work with LBU in the development of joint annual business plans to ensure Joint Plan targets are delivered
  • Lead the development Group/Regional Steering Committee meeting materials. Review and participate in Local Steering Committee meetings as required.

Partnership Governance
  • Close monitoring of LBU's adherence to agreement product development processes and ensure timely delivery of products. Similarly for other key initiatives agreed as part of joint business plan.
  • Manage LBU escalations to the Regional/Group Steering Committee and provide recommendations to resolve the escalated matters in a timely matter.
  • Manage the resolution of issues at regional and country levels with LBUs and and Bank partners as required.
  • Ensure SOP (Group/Regional) with bank partners are strictly adhered to and carry out necessary actions if required.

Project Management & Strategic Development
  • Undertake regular strategic review of each market and provide recommendations on mid to long-term strategies on existing bank partners with an aim to take the partnerships to the next level
  • Support product proposition development and work closely with LBU to ensure delivery of product roadmap.
  • Undertake projects in support of the development of Group partnership distribution and local business units. This may include: Implementation of Group-led strategic projects, Best Practice sharing, communication forum, arranging conferences and workshops, enhancing management information reports

Development of Regional PD Team
  • Lead and participate in assigned projects to enhance the capability of the Group PD team and improve effectiveness
  • Support departmental and ad-hoc assignments

Job Requirements
  • University graduate with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of people & project management
  • Experience in bancassurance account management, business planning, and reporting is a must
  • Good communications, stakeholder management, and inter-personal skills
  • Good spoken English and Chinese. Mandarin preferred.
  • Self-motived, team player, and ability to work under pressure
