Your responsibilities
* Manage a broad spectrum of accounts for the APAC entities in a
multi-currency environment to ensure timely and accurate completion of the global accounting
cycle.
* Oversee accounts payable, corporate credit cards and expense reimbursements.
* Cash and intercompany reconciliations, prepayment processing, FX revaluations and ensure
controls of financial data through system data alerts and other technology.
* Prepare and publish internal financial statements, conduct variance analyses and assist with
financial queries.
* Cash flow forecast and monitoring of SFC regulatory capital requirements.
* Preparation of monthly Financial Resources Returns
* Engage in ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing financial controls through technology.
* Provide support for essential functions such as general accounting, transfer pricing, and fund
recharges.
* Play a crucial role in the preparation of financial statements and collaborate with external
auditors to fulfil audit requests.
* Actively utilize various technologies available within the firm and make process improvements.
Our requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study.
* 5 or 6 years of relevant experience at an asset management firm is preferable. Experience at
other financial institutions or public accounting firms will also be considered.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles (CPA or demonstrated path to licensure)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong proficiency in Excel, financial software and systems (experience with PowerBI, SQL, and
VBA is a plus) with a keen interest in leveraging technology to improve financial processes.
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Well organized with good time management and proven record of meeting deadlines.
* Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin essential.
