Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial markets, and related investment products to accurately record various transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare valuations, financial statements, and other management and regulatory reports, ensuring they reflect the unique characteristics of asset portfolios.
- Support the enhancement and maintenance of customized financial systems to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting for assets.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes, especially in areas unique to financial accounting and operations.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and accounting standards related to financial assets to ensure compliance.
- Handle ad hoc tasks and projects related to finance operations as assigned by the Finance Supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience. (Prior experience in the asset management industry is highly preferred.)
- Certifications: CFA, CPA, or similar qualifications are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).(Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is advantageous.)
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
