Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment banking, corporate finance, and valuation, with significant experience in U.S. capital markets. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving strategic financial initiatives to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and execute the companys financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

    • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

    • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.

  • Capital Markets & Fundraising:

    • Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.

    • Oversee the companys capital structure and fundraising activities, including equity and debt financing.

    • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other relevant accounting standards for financial reporting.

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):

    • Lead M&A activities, including valuation, due diligence, and integration planning.

    • Advise on deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation to maximize shareholder value.

    • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Financial Operations:

    • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management.

    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including quarterly and annual filings.

    • Implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, including the SEC and HKEx.

    • Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and the Board of Directors.

    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to support the companys strategic objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent).

    • Extensive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and valuation.

    • Proven track record in managing U.S. capital markets and regulatory compliance.

    • Strong background in M&A, financial modeling, and strategic financial planning.
