Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day settlement and operational support in one or more of the following areas: Derivatives including Swaps, OTC Options, Structured products, FX, Money Market, and Bonds etc.
  • Negotiate with relevant parties; Manage end-to-end processing procedures and closely work with various internal and external parties such as legal counsel, accounting, IT, system vendor etc.
  • Participate in projects, coordinate, manage and resolve problems during different stages from project initiation to its implementation
  • Produce documentation on operating procedures and operating guideline
  • Optimize workflow of the supervised business routine, so as to enhance operating efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management
Requirements:
  • Degree holder or above with major in Finance, Business or Banking
  • At least 6 years experience in operations related to treasury products settlement, and 3 years or above in managerial position
  • Good knowledge and experience in payment/settlement systems (SWIFT, CHATS, CMU, Euroclear/Clearstream etc.)
  • Equipped with relevant finance and accounting knowledge
  • Familiar with banking operations and related policies, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Good risk management and compliance awareness
  • Management capacity, self-initiated, analytical-minded, and able to handle multi-tasks under tight schedule
  • Be a good team-player, proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Proficient in English and Chinese word processing and computer applications (Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.), VBA and macro is an advantage.
