Investment Operations, Analyst

A leading global asset manager is seeking a detail-oriented Operations specialist to support both regional and global operational processes. This role involves close collaboration with teams across multiple regions, to ensure seamless daily operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in trade support, reconciliation oversight, and client reporting while maintaining strong relationships with third-party service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage trade lifecycle activities, including trade matching, settlement monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and resolve trade discrepancies, ensuring timely communication with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Track settlement statuses within the Order Management System (OMS) and address any processing failures.
  • Review and resolve reconciliation breaks between internal records, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Oversee third-party vendor reports, ensuring accuracy in trade and cash flow data.
  • Facilitate intraday cash movements, including time-sensitive updates and mandate processing.
  • Support cash management functions, including transfer agency and cash flow reconciliations.
  • Work closely with global teams to maintain process consistency and alignment with vendor support models.
  • Handle derivatives margining and central counterparty (CCP) reconciliations.
  • Maintain static data integrity and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Provide coverage during regional public holidays as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, trade support, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management and cash reconciliation processes.
  • Prior experience in vendor oversight and exception handling is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OMS platforms (e.g., CRIMS, Aladdin) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Passport/CDR or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
