Project Background
In the ongoing transformation journey, our client is enhancing the core banking products tailored to UHNW clientele—including deposits and loans—and reinforcing robust credit risk management practices around the lending activities. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will collaborate with banking and credit specialists to help deliver scalable, integrated platform solutions that support business growth and efficient risk control.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with product owners and an array of business partners (risk, technology, operations, finance, legal, and compliance) to define business needs and translate them into strategic and tactical system enhancements.
- Business Analysis & Process Optimization: Conduct detailed business analyses to capture requirements, craft user stories, determine workflows, and recommend process improvements. Your insights will directly impact the upgrade and integration of the fund and portfolio management platforms.
- Project Management (Full Lifecycle): Manage projects from initial feasibility studies and requirements documentation through user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and post-implementation evaluation. Develop UAT test scripts, manage stakeholder communications, and provide hands-on support during system deployments.
- System & Vendor Collaboration: Partner with internal technology teams and external vendor consultants to design and deploy solutions that meet both current and future business needs, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our agile delivery model.
- Strategic Communication & Governance: Map out, track, and communicate project strategies, timelines, and milestones. Prepare periodic status updates and create presentations for steering committees. Act as the chair for working groups to reconcile resource conflicts and escalate issues where necessary.
Requirements
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of practical experience in business analysis and project management, particularly within banking environments. Exposure to deposits, loans, balance sheet management, and credit risk management is highly desirable.
- Methodology & Agility: Proven experience navigating a fast-paced, agile delivery framework — comfortable leading change initiatives that drive tangible user benefits.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to break down complex business problems, generate actionable insights, and articulate ideas in both technical and business-friendly language. Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and resilient under pressure. A big-picture thinker who can also dive into technical details, always with a focus on excellence and building strategic partnerships.
