Overview:
We are assisting our banking client in their search for an Associate in IT Security. This role is essential to supporting HKMA and Head Office cybersecurity compliance assessments, reviews, and surveys. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting cybersecurity compliance assessments and reviews in alignment with HKMA and Head Office requirements.
- Support the preparation and execution of cybersecurity surveys, ensuring adherence to established standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Monitor cyber threat intelligence, keeping abreast of market trends and security incidents to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Contribute to system hardening initiatives and manage vulnerability assessments to ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Aid in the implementation and operation of security systems and controls to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance security posture.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Education background of a Higher Diploma or above in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the IT industry, specifically in cybersecurity.
- Holder of CISSP, CISA, or other HKMA ECF-C recognized certifications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address cybersecurity challenges effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with various stakeholders within the organization.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying current with cybersecurity best practices.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua) and English.
