Job Responsibilities:
Review and investigate transaction/screening alerts and internal reports of suspicious transactions, and provide recommendation to MLRO on whether suspicious transaction reporting is necessary;
Provide timely and credible advice to internal stakeholders in relation to local AML/CFT regulations;
Assist in the development and maintenance of AML/CFT related policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and meet relevant statutory/regulatory requirements;
Liaise with local regulators and self-regulatory commissions on AML matters;
Handle other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Assist in the preparation of management information for senior management governance and oversight;
Assist in the organization/delivery of AML/CFT training programs;
Assist in the AML/CFT related projects and initiatives from time to time;
Assist in the maintenance and optimization of transaction monitoring system;
Job Requirements:
Degree holder or above in Banking and Finance, Legal, Compliance or related disciplines with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Hong Kong;
Holder of recognized AML qualifications, e.g. ACAMS, ICA, AAMLP, etc.
Sound knowledge in banking products and local AML/CFT regulations, as well as solid experience in AML/CFT and sanctions investigations;
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and earnest;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Able to work independently and as part of a team;
Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin);
