Analyst - Mergers & Acquisitions

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze and investigate into the financial and commercial state of companies
• Carry out financial modeling, develop and present optimal financial solutions to clients
• Construct business ‘pitch book cases and presentation to clients
• Conduct research into sector specific valuation parameter, industry theme, competitive landscape and market conditions
• Work with corporate finance colleagues to provide advice on capital structure
• Manage day-to-day execution of live M&A transaction and lead manage and co-ordinate with clients and counterparties

Job Specification:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• 1-2 years experience in corporate finance of IBD department, with M&A product and FIG / RE sector is a plus
• Well-rounded commercial and economic awareness and good understanding of the financial markets
• With legal background / knowledge is preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and comply with set policies and procedures
• Flexible, able to work under pressure and overtime
• Analytical, strong numeric, business communication and interpersonal skills
