Our client, a global insurance company, is seeking to hire an Account Manager specializing in the travel insurance sector to join their sales department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and cultivate strategic alliances in the travel insurance sector, focusing on coverage options and support services, acting as the main point of contact for resolving issues and capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners in the travel industry through effective strategic planning, relationship management, and regular business evaluations. Create and implement marketing initiatives and incentive programs to enhance partner engagement.
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives by refining the current portfolio and exploring upselling, cross-selling, and new business avenues within the travel domain.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor strategies in travel insurance to proactively identify and address potential risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legal regulations governing travel insurance.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales or Key Account Management, demonstrating a successful history in sales strategy formulation and revenue generation.
  • In-depth knowledge of local insurance regulations and a comprehensive understanding of the travel insurance landscape.
  • Strong capability to establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, exhibiting excellent influencing skills.
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented, committed to providing exceptional service.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities for effective problem-solving.
