Our client is a finacial organization and have a sizeable IT team in Hong Kong. They are embarking on a new and significant initiative involving the migration of their cloud platform. They are currently looking for two specialists to join their infrastructure operations team and contribute to the project's success. The initial offering for this position is a 12-month contract and there is a strong possibility of contract renewal.This opportunity presents a valuable chance to gain experience in larger-scale projects.
Key Contributions:
- Serve as a Technical Consultant, handling escalations, incidents, outages, and platform-related challenges
- Maintain and develop the infrastructure of various projects
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud platform infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability and optimal performance
- Responsible for project implementation on public cloud, private cloud and VM Ware
- New device installation, configuration and migration
- Manage capacity planning and monitoring
Core Expectations:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in system engineering/Cloud engineer/platform operations
- Experience in cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrate solid expertise in one of the following technologies: AWS Cloud, vSphere or VMware
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good command of both written and spoken in English, Cantonese/Mandarin
