Exciting new role for you
- You will act VP in Product Planning team to promote, support and coordinate business project to be planned by Hong Kong offices business lines internally to proceed.
- You will support the Product Planning across various deliverables and collaborate with key stakeholders including Business and Support Functions, to ensure risk and control governance is properly in place.
- You will review, document and evaluate existing procedures and operating models; improve and enhance current processes including coordination of change, risk assessment and testing of new processes.
- You are also expected to execute new strategy and policy, engage in project coordination and related discussions to implement changes, represent Product planning to identify, capture and channel feedback to the key stakeholders for projects.
- Initiate, manage and facilitate timely completion and quality execution of governance & controls related initiatives to ensure full compliance of policy and regulatory requirements as next to the first line of defense.
- You need to identify potential risk/internal control issues, determine risk appetite, mitigate risk and manage progress of required improvements actions.
- Keep constant alert of business and prospective risks to ensure full compliance with the prevailing regulatory and internal requirements and timely escalate, as and when situation warrants, related issues to senior management for attention/action.
- Manage internal and external audit engagements.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of relevant working experience with major investment banks & securities firms.
- Broad knowledge in financial instruments, derivatives across capital structures (OTC derivatives, bonds, subordinated bonds & hybrid papers).
- Demonstrate ability to effectively review and analyze data/situations and apply judgment to remediate issues in a timely manner.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Self-driven to offer suggestions for the enhancement of the business processes. Hard working, responsible.
With strong sense of risk assessment and management and be able to solving problems independently with minimal
supervision.
- University degree holder in finance, business administration or relevant discipline.
