They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager of Management Reporting to join their team. This pivotal role will be sitting under a Group Head of Business Manager, and will be responsible for overseeing all Management Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for all the Business Management and operational excellence initiatives, providing critical support to the Group Head of Business Management. The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset and a passion for driving excellence in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Your new role
- Lead the preparation and delivery of comprehensive management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the FP&A reports for the senior management office, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Develop and implement robust reporting frameworks and processes to enhance decision-making.
- Support the Head of Business Management in strategic planning and performance management initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting and FP&A practices, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a mid sized corporate bank in management reporting, FP&A, or related roles within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis tools, and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Proficient in verbal and written communications skills in Chinese and English.
