This emerging corporate bank has a new opportunity for a Senior Associate - Credit Analyst to join the Credit Analysis team to review and monitor the credit risk undertaken by the Branch by way of due diligence on new credit applications, prepare periodic reviews & covenants monitoring, prompt update of internal ratings and adverse news monitoring.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis on new large corporate customers and prepare credit proposals; including site visit and compliance of policies and regulations
- Collaborate and communicate with Corporate Banking Business Unit to facilitate effective and efficient credit credit / lending activity.
- Prepare detailed annual reviews as well as renewals for facilities.
- Monitor loan portfolio quality by way of news monitoring, periodic reviews and ensure current loan loss provisions, internal ratings and account grading reflect the state of the credit/ asset quality.
Requirements
- University graduate in any disciplines, preferably major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 5 years of corporate banking credit analysis experience, preferably in covering large corporates
- Sound knowledge in various commercial lending products and the regulatory requirements of credit management
- Good analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills
- Strong financial and cash flow analytical skills
- Written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
