We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager with experience in the Trade Credit sector within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible with:
- Developing new business relationships with a wide range of intermediaries, including brokers and direct clients.
- Responsible for seeking innovative ways to generate profitable growth, managing multiple distribution channels.
- Identifying new opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Assessing prospective client needs, conducting policy pricing and underwriting evaluations in collaboration with internal underwriters, and making recommendations for new business applications.
- A strong understanding of policy suites and structures is essential, along with the ability to negotiate effectively and close deals successfully.
- Increasing market awareness of the company's offerings and securing new clients.
Requirements
- Demands a confident, independent self-starter with a proven track record in business development or sales.
- Preferably with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Possess a client-focused mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and nurture long-lasting relationships.
- Previous broker-facing experience is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required to interact with a diverse client base.
