Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Key Responsibilities - Process order input and amendment, dividend payment, fund switching, fund transfer, redemption and settlement for investment funds handle fund house corporate actions according to the operation procedures as documented in the Operation Manual and other operational duties as assigned by supervisor
- Coordinate and follow up discrepancy items with relevant parties timely and escalate any exceptions to supervisor
- Assist supervisor to prepare operation and MIS reports
- Perform GL and system record checking/ reconcilement and escalate to supervisor if there is any discrepancy
- Provide suggestions to supervisor on ways to improve efficiency and quality of services
- Provide support in ad-hoc project and assist to conduct testing on various systems enhancements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations.
Requirements - University graduate
- Minimum 2-year experience in banking
- Relevant experience in investment products is an advantage
- Knowledge of consumer banking practices & procedures
- Banking Certificate of HKAB or academic qualifications in investment is an advantage.
- Strong awareness on operation risks and controls mindset with strong market operation knowledge
- Effective interpersonal and communication skill with great team spirits to work with various key stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and organizing skills
- Proactive and think out of the box, suggest new ideas to improve daily process
