Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HKEX Data Business and play a significant role in shaping data products and services, a growth business within the group. We are looking for a high caliber and motivated individual to join our product development team. The role will be responsible for driving the development and execution of new data products and services and expanding the HKEX data product catalogue.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities:
• Drive product development initiatives, and execute on various phases of development life cycle - research, feasibility analysis, design and requirements, development, and product testing
• Lead and project manage development pods, collaborating with technologists, data engineers, client and trading product specialists to execute on bringing products to market
• Contribute to product and services ideation, formulation of internal technical solutions, customer focused solutions and data business strategy
• Prepare presentation materials, develop and maintain business reporting and statistical reports
• Collaborate with, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners and clients
• Undertake any other responsibilities and projects as assigned
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in well-established financial, technology or data related organization - experience with financial market data and exchange trading markets preferred
• Strong team player with ability to self-start, self-learn, be adaptable, work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent technology, analytical, problem solving, inter-personal and presentation and communication skills
• Experience and skills in statistics, logic and computer programming, data management, data science and engineering, or data analytics and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Word
• Strong organizational, product management or project management skills (waterfall and agile methodologies) related to technology development and delivery
• Practical experience in vendor and technology facing relationship management
• Experience with financial operational and technology risk management, data regulation and compliance a plus
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
