About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Director to lead critical initiatives within the Corporate Solutions Business Improvement team. This role requires a visionary leader to drive strategy development & strategic planning, critical project delivery, executive support, and staff engagement. The ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration, process optimization (particularly in middle-to-back-office functions), and fostering a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities: Strategy Development & Strategic Planning - Lead the design and execution of long-term business strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and internal capability assessments to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define strategic priorities and actionable roadmaps
- Develop frameworks to measure strategy effectiveness and adjust plans based on performance metrics.
- Present strategic recommendations and key governance committees
Project Portfolio Management & Delivery - Oversee the end-to-end project portfolio, prioritizing process improvement initiatives (e.g., automation, workflow redesign) for middle to back-office functions.
- Manage project delivery timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Establish governance structures and risk mitigation strategies for high-impact projects.
- Drive change management efforts to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders, resolving conflicts and escalating issues as needed.
Support to Chief Corporate Solutions Officer (CCSO) & Communication - Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and briefing materials for ExCo-level meetings and external engagements.
- Develop and manage internal/external communication strategies, including newsletters, town halls, and leadership messaging.
- Track KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor progress against corporate goals.
Staff Engagement Initiatives - Design and implement engagement programs to strengthen team cohesion and align staff with organizational vision
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth mindset through mentorship, training, and recognition programs.
- Address employee feedback via surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interactions to enhance workplace satisfaction.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the Corporate Solutions.
Requirements: - University graduate, preferably major in business related subject or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong problem solving, synthesis and communication skills
- Good team player and able to work independently
- Proficient in both spoken & written English & Chinese
- Experience in setting the strategic priorities is preferred
- Ability to understand business issues, and collaborated closely optimally with various departments
- Analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Exceptional organisation and motivational skills, including attention to detail
- Great teammate and willing to go extra mile to enable team success
- Located in Hong Kong
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Principal
