A reputable financial institution which has a significant role to play in shaping Hong Kong's financial system. They are looking for a talented Cloud System Engineer for their IT team.
Your new role
- Manage and maintain the Private Cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, load balancers, and sub-systems
- Carry out regular maintenance and patch management
- Troubleshooting system incidents when needed
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system administrative procedures and disaster recovery plans
- Participate in system-related projects, technical research, and proof-of-concept work
- Provide Public Cloud environment support such as monitoring, deployment and troubleshooting
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Excellent understanding of cloud computing, virtualisation, and network security
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and NSX-T
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and SQL Server
- Proven experience in the IT industry
- Experience with Public Cloud services is a plus
