Your new role
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot servers and databases.
  • Design and maintain systems for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Supervise system and database administration tasks.
  • Plan capacity, monitor performance, and optimise databases.
  • Design and tune SQL queries, solve database problems.
  • Plan and operate multiple enterprise database servers.
  • Assist with database implementation, backup, restore, data migration, and replication.
  • Work with security and system administrators to resolve issues.
  • Document SQL environment and operations.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with MS SQL, MySQL, DB2, and server database administration.
  • Over 3 years of experience supporting critical production environments as an MS SQL Server DBA.
  • Proficiency with MS SQL Server 2016 and newer versions.
  • MCDBA certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
